Seminarian the First Step to Priesthood

I am an ex-seminarian. I entered the seminary right after high school, way back in 1998. I stayed there as aspirant, in other words collegian, for 4 years (1998-2002). Actually I finished my Bachelor of Arts major in Philosophy at the said seminary. There is a sayings "Many are Called but Few were Chosen". I considered myself as called but was not chosen because I am now an ex-seminarian. After seminary, I decided to pursue my studies in Bachelor of Laws in University of Eastern Philippines (UEP). That was school year 2002-2003. But as law student, it became uneasy for me. So I only stayed in college of law for 2 semesters and shift in Master in Public Management in Tiburcio Tancinco Memorial Institute of Science and Technology. I completed the academic requirement (CAR) of Public Management. I am now a CAR holder. Which means only thesis writing is lacking for me to be a full pledge master in public management (graduate). My inclusive dates in MPM is 2003-2005. While studying (MPM) I was hired in National Irrigation Administration and work there as clerk processor, PCO coordinator and Institutional Development Officer (other word for Community Organizer). Inclusive dates (2003-2006). Until I transfered to the Bureau of Fire Protection as firefighter last September 2006 to the present. I inserted that for information purposes. hehe.
That's not yet my main topic. What i want to share with is the Diaconal Ordinations of my contemporaries in the seminary. I was invited to attend such ordination. There were 5 religious that was ordained as deacons and three of them was my contemporaries. In the ordination many of my former classmates which are also ex-seminarian was present. "Is this a reunion?" asked of our former rector when we see us occupying the whole pew. hehe. Its just a nice feelings to witness there achievement and i feel a quite envy to them, thinking that I supposed to be liked them if i just continue my vocation. But to be honest I have still in my mind to pursue my vocation, but before doing that i need to have a discernment first. Maybe you want to follow the steps of Christ or want to be religious you may search-in in OLASeminary (Our Lady of the Angels Seminary) a Franciscan OFM. Located at Seminary Road, Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City and look for the Rector.
