The Noble Profession

Firefighting is a very noble profession. It demands not only for fire suppression in saving lives and properties but also in fire prevention, fire investigation, rescue, emergency and medical services.

The life of firefighters are always in risk especially during fire occurrence. They are the first to respond in the fire scene. And In that scenario, braveness of the firefighters are very vivid. I could say with due respect to other firefighters, that Filipino firefighter is the bravest among them. Is it because of the fact that they can manage to fight and suppress fire without hesitation in due time despite of the lacking or incomplete facilities used for firefighting. Such as bunker coat, breathing apparatus, any forcible entry tools and etc...

In the fire scene, if we observed, our Filipino firefighters only used a wet face towel or hankies instead of breathing apparatus that other countries used.

But I believed, despite of the great difference in terms of facilities and technologies, that all firefighters are always observe the principle of transparency for all transaction where the common good or the public interest is the paramount concern.
